Build Green is an initiative, implemented by the ClujIT cluster, which aims to contribute to the transition of the Romanian economy and society towards a more sustainable, greener and resilient future.
This will be achieved by building operational capacities for a nationally relevant business ecosystem, centered around the concept of Green Innovation.
Through this project, Smart Innovation Norway collaborates with ClujIT by organising 3 capacity building workshops in Cluj in order to support the twinning of the ICT sector with sustainability. The project also includes a capacity-building visit of the Romanian delegation in Oslo and Halden in order to meet relevant stakeholders and build network.
The outcome of the project is the creation of a vertical network within ClujIT’s cluster, called “TechNation Romania”. The network unites key stakeholders from business, academia, and administration to foster long-term adoption of green innovation through specific measures including competence and technology transfer, alongside the development of supportive public policies.
The project is financd by Innovation Norway under the EEA and Norway Grants.
