Webinar: Get to know EBSI

What does the European Blockchain Service Infrastructure (EBSI) mean for Norway?

Welcome to our Demystifying Webinar on the Use of EBSI in Norway!

The goal of this digital seminar is to introduce the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI) and its potential applications to relevant stakeholders in Norway. The seminar will provide an overview of the EBSI initiative and discuss its use cases across various sectors.

What is EBSI and EBSI-NE?

EBSI is an initiative established by the European Commission and the EU member states to develop a European infrastructure for blockchain technology. The project European Blockchain Services Infrastructure – Nodes Expansion (EBSI-NE) is a collaborative initiative between 24 organizations from 14 European countries.

Among Smart Innovation Norway’s main tasks in EBSI-NE is to disseminate relevant information about the EBSI initiative, especially regarding the opportunities it provides, and to support stakeholders in adopting the technology.

Who is behind it?

The webinar is organized by Smart Innovation Norway in collaboration with other Norwegian EBSI-NE partners – the University of Oslo (UiO) and the Norwegian Digitalisation Agency (DigDir). The EBSI-NE project is funded by the Digital Europe Programme, a European Union funding instrument aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of Europe.
